About myself

Ryan C. Dull is the owner of Colorado Trails and Terrain and is the “go to” guy for anything OHV or recreation related. Ryan grew up in the mountains of Colorado hiking, dirt biking, ATVing and Jeeping. After high school, he attended Colorado Mesa University for Recreation and Travel Management. He began his career with Evergreen Parks and Recreation on the Parks Crew and after 5 years moved onto the Trail Crew with Jefferson County Open Space. Ryan then became a Special Parks and Recreation Officer and Park Ranger for Colorado Parks and Wildlife starting at Staunton State Park and then moving to Buena Vista where he was a Land Ranger for the Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area. After 5 years with Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Ryan joined the US Forest Service as an OHV Travel Management Forest Protection Officer and Wildland Firefighter working for the Clear Creek Ranger District, South Platte Ranger District, and the Salida Ranger District while also assisting the South Park Ranger District through their on-the-ground travel management process. After 10 years with the US Forest Service, Ryan moved into an OHV educational role as the Stewardship and Outreach Specialist for Stay The Trail Colorado. He spent 6 years with the program establishing the brand and building the program into a successful working model. Ryan is also a certified ATV instructor and ASE mechanic and enjoys turning wrenches as much as he enjoys riding or driving the trails. Additionally, Ryan is proficient in graphic design and cartography and develops custom maps, presentations, signs or campaigns for specific recreational areas or events. Ryan can frequently be seen on routes exploring, or doing trail work, always with a big smile and willing to lend a hand to better our public lands.
